A historic forge near St. John’s, dating back to the late 1800s, passed into the hands of Kyle Downey — a young, up-and-coming blacksmith.

With new energy at the helm, the forge needed an identity to match: rooted in tradition yet undeniably modern, adaptable across storefronts, packaging, and digital spaces. The final mark — a distressed monogram that honours its legacy, while the ‘bowl’ of the B doubles as a subtle anchor, nodding to the forge’s fishing-town heritage.
