With this change, the forge felt like it was time to update their look. The brief was to create something historic, authentic yet modern and that could be used for a multitude of collateral for their storefront, packaging, and online presence. Through various explorations, a distressed monogrammed version was chosen. The ‘bowel’ of the B was also used visually as an anchor metaphor — a nod to its fishing heritage.
