I was presented with the opportunity to devise a logo and look for an upcoming streaming application run by the Canadian Broadcasting Company. I was given three terms as my source of inspiration, ‘outdoor vintage’, ‘Canadian bright’ and ‘multiverse’. The original CBC logo, created by Burton Kramer, is an iconic piece in design history, so I wanted to play into elements from the existing look. I presented five options ranging from safe to edgy and different, alongside with a colour palette and situational graphics to the client.
